iced honey vanilla latte

ingredients

directions

  1. Start by preparing your espresso or moka pot brewed coffee.
  2. While that's brewing, in a small bowl, stir together the milk, honey, and vanilla syrup.
  3. Fill a cup with ice cubes and the milk mixture. Then, pour the espresso/coffee over the milk and ice. Stirring is optional but I like doing so. Enjoy!

homemade matcha latte

ingredients

directions

  1. Start by "blooming" your matcha whisk in hot water if you haven't already. To do so, take a bowl of hot (not boiling!) water and place your matcha whisk in, handle up. Wait until the bristles expand, or "bloom".
  2. While that's happening, take a bowl and sift your matcha through a fine sifter, making sure there are no clumps.
  3. Pour your hot (not boiling!) water into the matcha and start whisking with a matcha whisk. First, begin with a circle pattern to incomporate the matcha in the water. Then, whisk in a "W" or "M" battern to make the matcha mixture frothy. Set aside.
  4. Take your serving glass and pour in the vanilla syrup.
  5. Pour your ice cubes and milk of choice into the glass.
  6. Finally, add your matcha on top of the syrup and milk. Stir and enjoy!
