I took several CS classes in high school, so luckily I wasn't completely lost in the beginning of this project! Even so, I felt like I was still able to learn much more than I initially thought I knew. I learned much more about the box model and common accessibility practices. Additionally, I felt great knowing my classmates could come to me for help. Personally, I love helping people!
I also want to say that I think I set the bar too high for myself. Whenever a creative project is assigned, I tend to get carried away with my ideas and don't take into account my time or skill restrictions. In fact, here's a screenshot of the ideas I had drafted up when this project was assigned. A little over the top in my opinion. And honestly, I'm still here up until the last few hours before this is due, still working on this project. I had to take a lot of things out, like images for some of the recipes. Even though I couldn't feasibly implement everything I wanted to do for this project, I still had a lot of fun regardless. I loved the feeling of satisfaction I got after doing some problem-solving to make my website work the way I wanted it to.
